We offer four basic types of Senior Coverage: Medicare Supplement Plans, Medicare Advantage Plans, Prescription Drug Plans and Long-Term Care Plans.
Medicare Supplement Plans- Since Medicare does not cover all health care expenses, Medicare Supplement Insurance is sold as supplementary health insurance for Medicare recipients. There are a number of gaps in Medicare coverage, so this Medicare Supplement Insurance is often known as Medigap. Medicare Supplement Insurance is not a federal program like Medicare. We offer Medicare supplements endorsed by AARP.
Medicare Advantage Plans - Medicare Advantage Plans are health plan options (like HMO, POS, PPO, PFFS) approved by Medicare and offered by private companies. These plans are part of Medicare and are sometimes called "Medicare Health Plans", "Part C", or "MA Plans". Medicare pays a fixed amount for your care every month to the companies offering Medicare Advantage Plans.
Prescription Drug Plans- Medicare offers prescription drug coverage (Part D) for everyone with Medicare. To get Medicare drug coverage, you must join a plan run by an insurance company or other private company approved by Medicare. Each plan can vary in cost and drugs covered. We will be happy to sit down with you and help you decide which plan is best for you.
Long-Term Care Insurance - Long-term care insurance can be an effective tool for protecting your assets and estate from the high costs of senior care. With Long-term care insurance, you can plan and budget for a known premium for a policy that can protect you from large out of pocket expenses.
